Our Queens
EzBritz is built around a small number of carefully chosen, health-tested queens who live as part of our family — starting with our foundation girl, Rosie.
Family first, breeding second.
Meet our girls
Three girls live here. Rosie is our foundation queen and the only one who has had a litter; the other two are Highway, her chocolate daughter, and Heidi, a black tortie from the same breeder Rosie came from, and both are still growing up. Each has her own page, and that is where the detail lives — breeding, health testing, and the rest of the photographs and videos as we take them.
RAYANSHEL WHOLE-LOTTA-ROSIE — “Rosie”
Our foundation queen. A black British Shorthair born in April 2024 — calm, affectionate, entirely unbothered by the hoover, and a far better mother than a first-time queen has any right to be. Her page has where the name came from, what she is like to live with, how we chose a stud for her, and her first week as a mother.
EZBRITZ HIGHWAY-TO-HELL — “Highway”
Rosie’s chocolate daughter, born here on 25 May 2026, and the first cat born under our own prefix that we have kept. Her page has why we kept her, what her colour needed from both parents, and what a judge can and cannot honestly tell you about a kitten at twelve weeks.
RAYANSHEL HIGH-VOLTAGE — “Heidi”
A black tortoiseshell girl born on 18 May 2026, bred by Sandie Holloway at Rayanshel, and the second Rayanshel cat to come to us after Rosie. Her page has the Rayanshel connection, what a tortie brings that Rosie cannot, and the one test she has not had yet.
Neither of the two youngsters is a queen, and neither may ever be. That is a decision for when they are grown rather than one to make at twelve weeks. Both are named after AC/DC songs, which by the third one has stopped being a coincidence.
How our cats live
All of our cats are much loved pets first and breeding cats second. They live in the house with us rather than in a cattery block, with the run of a secure catio so they can sit in the sun and watch the birds without coming to any harm. None of our cats or kittens are allowed to free roam.
It is the same house our Burnthwaites Siamese and Orientals grew up in, so our kittens are raised around other cats and all the ordinary noise of a family home.
